It was suggested in the dye storage thread that it could perhaps be a purchasable update through the GW online store. I would completely support that and be willing to pay RW money to put the tab in my storage. Seriously. Bring on the cash. That way Anet gets my money, and I get my storage. Everybody happy!

An example of why you MIGHT want four slots is so that charatcter class like Elementalist could have gloves of each Superior rune.

Why would you want gloves with each sup rune? Put it on ur head peice.
Anyways I think storage for armors would be a good thing. I have three sets of armor for my main, 55 necro, MM, and other armor. It kills a whole bag with those and the two extra face scars I carry around.
another solution could be to give each charactor another bag for customized equipmant (10 slots no uncustomized equipment)

If we cannot freely move runes and mods around in our armor, it forces us to mod new parts and store them. This is a more than reasonable request.
While we are at it, hero weapons are breaking my back as well. For example, I use the 2 Ele hero's a lot. When I want to change their builds, I need either a staff of the appropriate element (4 x 2 = 8 staves) or the wand + offhand (8 x 2 =16 wand+offhand). It's the same for the rest of them. Either I stick to a one element/weapon build, or the low storage prevents me from being creative. I have unlocked all the skills, mods, runes etc. I am also willing to farm for hero gear, storage space shouldn't act as a build limitation.
To the critics: If you do not need extra storage space, that is well and good. Extra storage space that you do not use hurts neither you, nor the game, in any way. What is is about people that have to stand up and criticize other peoples requests that, if implemented, will affect them in no negative way at all? You don't need more space, then congrats, you can ignore this thread. If you are going to shoot this idea down, a better reason than "I don't personally need it" would be appreciated.

I don't believe this was mentioned. What if there was a "chest" you could purchase from a merchant that would hold 5 armor pieces and would only take up one slot within your storage?
Or an Armor Chest Merchant with a chest for each profession. Once this was in your storage you would know what profession it was. Or perhaps the chest had the profession icon on it.
This way no new tabs were needed.

No it is not like you need all sets of armours from all campaigns. They could give us an mini pet NPC like the festival hat one.I get tired of having 2 mini pets as well as all the junk from Wintersday,Halloween,Dragon Festival Day and all those other special weekends. It just clutters up your vault and inventory.

apparently in the Hall of Monuments, there's a section where you put your ascended armor sets to unlock a feature for GW2. In order to unlock it you have to have a *CERTAIN AMOUNT* of armor sets.
*IF* you need more armor sets than say 6 (one very knowledgable poster mentioned in another thread it's probably 15), many people will have to be hauling around multiple sets, and that is going to be a problem.
*SINCE* Anet is going to require probably more armor sets than most people have characters to complete the unlock for GW2, they *SHOULD* give armor storage.
that's my logic
so..........

Changing builds often means changing armor pieces to maximize it. Hell, we need more storage period. I'm about to have to make a character just for the storage. Between festival prizes, birthday pets, armor, and quest items, there just isn't enough.

I dont have many armour sets, mostly due to storage issues. If we had a storage space dedicated for them (hey, what a use of the HoM), then i may actually invest in a few variations.
Peace,
Ferret

I have 10 suits of armour I believe for my ranger.
Part of this is due to the issue of shfting runes; my ranger is fully PvP ready, and I want to be able to use any combination of runes/insignia of the common types (Attunement/Vitae, Minor, Superior). As a result I have 6 sets for the spectrum of Survivor-Radiant (Radiant with +3, +1 and Attunement runes, Survivor with +3, +1 and Vitae runes) all in the same style, so I can mix and match without looking dumb, as well as some other armours for fun (Scout's insgnia, BM insignia etc...).
Rangers need a variety of bows as well; 4 recurves (silencing, barbed, poisonous, crippling), an Ebon bow of Enchanting for Ebon Dust builds, Enchating Flatbow for Conjure/JI Barrage, Spiking Hornbow, Crippling Longbow, some PvE bows. Since rangers often also run other weapons, I have daggers (zealous/vampiric/silencing), sword, hammer, axe, tactics shield, scythe, blood staff, spear, command and motivation shield...
Not surprisingly, I'd like more storage of customised stuff.

With the Hall of Monuments and working on my 1st set of 10 prestiage armor sets... I don't want to create a "armor" girl servant just to hold my main characters prestiage armor (painful to destory it as well....)
